FAQs
What are acrylic float frames?
Your image will be printed and face-mounted with a clear Perspex front. This stylish and modern “frameless” way of displaying images gives them a high-gloss and high-definition finish with a very clean appearance. The back is equipped with an aluminium frame for hanging and to “float” the image off the wall.
What are Art mounts?
Your image will be printed and mounted onto a sturdy but very lightweight foam-core backing with sealed black or white edging. This is a contemporary and inexpensive way to display posters and photography without a frame.
What are Clip frames?
Your print will be placed between a clear Perspex front and an MDF backing and held together with discreet metal clips. These removable clips create easy to assemble frames that allow you to change the image in the clip frame at any time.
How do I hang my frame?
Acrylic float frames come equipped with an aluminium backing frame and a corresponding hanging bracket that mates to the frame.
Art mounts are equipped with a string attached to the backing, but can also be safely hung with removeable hanging strips due to their light weight.
Clip frames come with metal hangers attached to their MDF backing.
Cork and chalk board frames will be equipped with d-rings and wire attached to the back of the frame.
Make sure any screws or hanging points are firmly fixed to the wall and will adequately support the weight of your frame. For large, heavy frames we would recommend using a professional picture hanger to ensure your frame is attached securely.
